Stunningly beautiful “Simba” the rare purebred Snow Lynx Bengal is looking for his furever home and to deeply bond with his owner(s)…is that you?

Simba came into rescue through no fault of his own after his owner could no longer care for him due to personal health reasons. Simba went through a deep grieving process after losing the only home he had ever known since he was a kitten, he has rebounded and has done very well in his current foster home to the point he is now ready for his own new furever home that he is truly in need of!

BENGAL CAT ADOPTION PREREQUISITES:
We are looking specifically for a home for Simba that would have previous Bengal ownership experience or experience with another high energy feline breed such as an Abyssinian, Burmese, Siamese, Somali, Devon/Cornish Rex, Ocicat, Savannah etc. Simba will need a larger home with space of over 1,200 sq ft. providing him with plenty of room to run and get exercise and to play in. Excellent Veterinary References will also be required. Simba originally came from a CFA/TICA Exotic Breeder at a very high cost because of the exotic rarity of Snow Lynx Bengals, Simba is not papered so his adoption fee has been adjusted to reflect that of a non-papered Exotic Purebred rescue cat.

ABOUT SIMBA:
Simba is only 2 ½ years old, has all his claws, he is neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and he is up to date on all his Vaccines and he is microchipped. Simba weighs appx. 10.5 pounds, he has the lanky wildcat Bengal build including the Bengal standard roundish face with BG rounded ears, he has a short silky coat that is easy to care for in colors of an off white ivory (creamy/beige/light tan) color with darker tan/chocolate brown Bengal rosette markings and gorgeous spots and stripes on his front legs and a striped tail, you will absolutely fall in love with his huge oval round Caribbean Aqua Light Blue eyes…they are absolutely amazing to see in person! This boy also loves to roll around for those belly pets and chin scritches!

Simba is on Royal Canin Veterinary Prescription Urinary SO Dry & Wet food after being diagnosed with Urinary Crystals in early January, he has done very well on this food, and he will need to remain on it for the rest of his life. Simba did very well at his last Veterinary check and is healthy and all clear for his adoption. Simba was rather a picky eater with his previous owner, but we now have him settled into the Royal Canin Urinary SO food and he loves it. His new owners will need to be able to financially provide his Veterinary Prescription food that is available at most larger Vet Clinics, at PetSmart, PetCo and on-line with Chewy. Simba is used to unscented very low-dust clumping cat litter so that will also need to be provided by his new home, his foster mom can guide you as to where to purchase it, it is not that expensive at all but is an excellent cat litter for the cost. Simba will also have his complete Veterinary file provided from the time he came into rescue and his Medical Services Certificate.

Simba does love to use the cardboard scratchers that lay on the floor like most cats do and he also loves to use the tall vertical sisal scratch post in his foster room. Simba does not seem to mind having his nails trimmed professionally when he is taken to the Vet as they are very quick at it. Simba loves to play by himself or with his owner with toys and wands, he loves to lay in the sunshine rays, he adores to be taken for a walk outside on nice days and is harness trained. Simba would do best in a large home that has plenty of space for him to play and plenty of sunny window locations and cat tree access for Cat TV squirrel and bird watching. He would also love to keep you company in any room you go in and would love to sleep with you at night.

Simba was originally raised by himself so he would be fine being an only cat and the king of his household again, he will require your human companionship and your time - as the Bengal personality in general they tend to become very bonded to their owners once they get to know and trust them. Simba has a true Bengal personality; he does get lonely without his owner(s)s around for lengthy periods of time so he would do best with someone that is home a lot and/or works from home. If you needed to go away from home on a Vacation etc., Simba would need someone that can spend a great deal of time with him on a daily basis and or that could stay with him in his home so he does not get stressed out and lonely.

We feel a home without young children would be best for Simba - young children would stress him out, children of a high school age and older that are cat experienced and that were raised with high energy breed cats we could give consideration to.

Consideration would be given if you currently have a female Bengal, Abby or Siamese etc. that is friendly and likes other cats, providing proper slow and supervised introductions over a few weeks they would be fine together. Simba is currently sharing his foster room with a couple other extremely mellow and friendly foster cats so as long as the proper and slow introduction were to happen with Simba and the current resident female kitty he should be fine, having a buddy kitty would also help with Simba perhaps not being so lonely.

DOWRY INCLUDED:
Simba has a large dowry of cat supplies that will go with him to his new home that came from his previous home and some new things added from his foster home. He will have whatever remains of his prescription dry and wet food along with the written Veterinary Prescription for it. There is a very tall 6 foot cat tree that is near new, his cardboard scratcher for floor use, his covered cat litter box plus one extra large high side corner use cat litter box, his blanket/bedding, TWO (2) cat fountains, his ceramic whisker friendly cat dishes that sit in a raised wrought iron stand that he is used to eating his dry and wet food from, he has a huge basket of play toys, his electronic toys and many expensive feather wands, his soft side cat carrier and his back-pack carrier for walks to the park (both are in excellent condition), his like new harness and various size leashes, he also has cold weather gear for those cool spring, fall and winter walks. His dowry is a huge substantial savings to his new owner, about the only thing you will need to buy will be the tall scratch post that he likes and maybe another window height cat tree. His foster mom also feels the purchase of a One Fast Cat Wheel would also be great for him to get his exercise on, you can buy them used reasonably priced in pretty good condition.

Simba will be ready for his future home as early as March 31st so you will be able to celebrate his next birthday with him on July 28th!
