Our mission at Wisconsin Purebred Cat & Kitten Rescue is to rescue adult cats and kittens and provide them with the absolute best of medical care, healthy high quality food and a loving foster home until they would be ready and available for adoption. We pride ourselves on making the “purrfect match” of the cat or kitten with any potential adopter to insure our kitties will be going to their furever loving home.
All of our kitties are lovingly fostered in our own personal homes, they are never kept in a kennel or cage and are free to roam in our homes just as they would be in yours. Our philosophy is that the kitties need to be fully domesticated and comfortable in a home environment so the transition to their new furever home is seamless. All kitties are Spayed or Neutered, UTD on Vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV and they are Microchipped. They are fully litter trained, (some are trained to use a Cat Genie or a Litter Robot) they are taught to enjoy lounging on cat trees, to use scratching posts and kept on a routine schedule for feeding, playtime, lap cuddle time and bedtime.
A completed adoption application is required for any of our cats or kittens. We review each application in order as received, an over the phone interview is scheduled, all references are checked, once approved you will be notified. A formal Adoption Contract will be issued and an adoption date in the future will be scheduled. Veterinary Records and Medical Certificates, Microchip number for each cat or kitten are included in a file folder upon adoption. All of of our rescue cats and kittens will come with their own personal bedding such as blanket or cat bed, toys, whisker friendly ceramic food dishes, cat litter box and in some cases a cat carrier or more dowry items that are listed in their BIO are also included.
Adoption fees range from $150 to $500.00, exotics $600+ depending on the rare breed of cat and/or if they will come with CFA papers.

We like many foster home based rescues have had to embrace a new way of adoptions by going Virtual using Facetime, Video Chat on Facebook and using Videos of our available cats published on our websites, on YouTube etc. Applications and Contracts are emailed, Adoption Fees are paid and sent via Venmo. Please contact us for more information on our process and our safe procedures on the adoption of a kitty or kitties from our rescue.
